MediGuide Welcomes Three New Team Members
The medical second opinion (MSO) market is expected to grow significantly in the next decade. This is an exciting time for MediGuide as we begin a new phase of expansion and development supported by an incredibly talented international team. As part of our efforts to enable continued growth and achieve our goals we’ve appointed three new people, each of whom we warmly welcome to the MediGuide family.
Zlatka CularRegional Vice President, MediGuide Europe, Middle East and Africa
Zlatka is an insurance executive with extensive experience operating as CEO for start-ups and ongoing concerns, as executive director for various insurance groups, and as an insurance industry management consultant.
Prior to joining MediGuide, she was Executive Director and CEO for big international insurance groups including UNIQA, Groupama, AXA, VIG, and MetLife. As CEO, she facilitated company transformations during two mergers and acquisitions in Croatia and Romania for VIG and AXA. At UNIQA, she developed and implemented new insurance products and best practices in Central Eastern and South Eastern Europe. She also started and successfully ran her own insurance company.
David SpinaleRegional Vice President (VP), MediGuide North America
David has more than 25 years of experience building and driving high-functioning sales and marketing organizations and promoting service excellence within international healthcare service firms, tech startups and world-renowned academic medical centers.
At Corista and lifeIMAGE, he led the go-to-market strategies for pioneering, cloud-delivered digital pathology and radiology solutions that facilitate global collaboration among physicians at medical centers of excellence. At Massachusetts General Hospital, he was the Director of MGH’s international Teleradiology program and Director of MGH Radiology’s Clinical Trials Core Imaging Lab. He also served as VP of USA Operations at Best Doctors.
David has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bridgewater State University and an MBA from Suffolk University.
Zachary PattersonAssistant Financial Controller, MediGuide International
Zachary comes from the banking and financial services industries. He is responsible for assisting with accounting operations including receivables, payables, foreign exchange management, monthly financials, and regulatory compliance relating to local, state and federal reporting requirements. Prior to joining MediGuide, he worked in IT at Discover Financial Services focusing on automation and customer relations.
Zachary has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Goldey-Beacom College and is currently pursuing his MBA in Accounting at Wilmington University.
Since our establishment in 1999, MediGuide has grown into a global operation providing world-class medical second opinion and affiliated services to members in 152 countries. Our MSO services are consistently well received by our members, our turnaround time is well below the 10 days we promise, and the vast majority of our MSO cases result in a different outcome. Our achievements are in large part a testament to the quality of our service offering and the caliber of our people.
